The bank>1995 240 sx se i say bank its been eating my money like crazy

Well we jus installed a new head on the car.All went pretty good there.Tried to start car and nothing jus turned over.So we checked the basic steps to starting a car (fire and gas)well we had fire no gas.Found out it was the Fuel pump.Changed that and tried starting car again.Well we must have been 180 off cause nothing. Were in middle of 180 switch and then i think my ignition broke. What i had to do was turn the key pretty hard to get it do turn the starter.Well i couldent turn hard enough any more.took apart the colume and got to the wires behind the key.Unscrewed the blck piece and tried to start it with a screw driver nothing. So i put on a test light and tested them all and i i turned the screw driver they all lit up fine.so i put the thing in and tested with the key all but start lite up. Cant firgure that out???????????????

Well i decided jus to get a push button start for the car and installed it.Well after a couple turns the starter started clicking.so i removed it and checked it and replaced it.

After i reinstalled it hooked it all up and was fine for a couple turns but then the wire off the switch going to batt. started like welding to the post so i stoped there what would be causeing that????? checked all wires and it was ok none pinched or anything.

Iff u didnt get questions one was in the ingnition. One was the starter.

Also i have the factory alarm.

so the starter works but the car wont run? crank but no start? if you put a new head on it i would start with checking the compression. also check that the valve timing is right on(comp test may indicate this).

checked all timing and compression was ok.main prob is why is the srter wire arching like that. and are there some secret relays are fuses stoping my key from doing that

there is no fuse or relay to keep the key from turning toward the start position only back to remove key.the arc was prob caused by a high draw. during extended cranking condition that is normal. you are not intending to leave the push button start on there are you?
