allright i am doing a sr swap to my s13 and it is cranking and starts but has no throttle response. no matter how much gas you give it even if it is all the way to the floor it idles rough for about 25 seconds then dies out. i made sure it is in time, put new plugs and o2 sensor on it. but when i did the swap i had to extend the throttle position senson wires to reach. could that be the problem. if anyone has any ideas please help me out so i can get it going thanks

why did you have to extend the tps wiring? you should only have to extend the maf wires

Was your harness set up for an auto TPS but your TPS was for a manual? If so you could have gotten some of the wires mixed up in the swap.

my maf sensor reached, as did the o2sensor, and the cam angle sensor. the only wire i had to extend was the tps sensor. thats whay i was asking if extending it created a problem in case the frequency was for a certain length

the sent me a brand new harness with the engine swap does the wire for the TPS send out a certain frequency, and by making it longer affect the sensor
