starting problems please help

i have an 89 240 with a kade that i swapped in with a manual transmission.the first problem was the de coil. i was using the kae one but the moment i bought the new coil for the de and hooked it up. the car started, several times after that if in close proximity. the car surged and idled high and i cut it off, while it was doing so. a day later i got the de maf and hooked it up, along with my vacuum lines. "silly me being anxious" now the car wont start anymore, just turns over. ive replaced the dizzy cap, rotor, plugs, wires, the coil is brand new... ive check the wires going to the makor components according to the chilton's manual... and it gets fuel. its not getting enough spark, but it was getting some befor the maf, which does nt make a whole lot of sense. i did check the power transistor which i think is bad according to chilton's but i was just trying to get some suggestions , or hear from anyone that may have had similar problems, i dont wont to just keep replacing things. thanks in advance... the power transistor is 175, so i need some help, does anyone know the exact readings that im supposed to get when checking them?

try messing with the ign timing to get her to fire up and then continue diag from there.
