My 1995 240sx 5spd was running fine today.

about 3hours ago i was in the car with the car off messing with the cd player... i know stupid but oh well.

about 2hours ago i decided to try to start her and nothing, the starter was not even trying to click.

i tested the lights and the lights and beams work, along with my cd player, but when i try to turn it over, nothing, no sound of it trying. I have no idea what is wrong with her. eariler that day i was driving on only 3cyl due to stupidity and my friend forgeting to plug a sparkplug wire back in when chaging them. but i onkly drove it like that for about 10mins total before we figured out whats wrong. any ideas why its not trying to turn over??? i gave it some time, thinking its just a weird happening and tried again a few mins ago and still nothing. i thought i just killed that batt. when messing with the cd player, i know the batt. is low because the car never fires up to its fullest, it struggles on. all help is appreashated. thank you NICO.

I know I already told you this but I'll tell you again ... check the battery cables ... I had loose cables on my car and lights would work and idiot lights came on etc... but would NOT turn over until I tightened up the batter cable... has been fine ever since!

also try a jumpstart ... it takes a lot less voltage to run headlights and other lights and radio than it does for the starter to turn over the engine.

The battery should have enough juice to click the relay over if the lights work. Get a voltmeter and check for voltage going to the relay while a buddy turns the key. If it's there then probably either the battery is really weak or maybe the relay is sticking.
