My 89 is reallllyy hard to start after left out in the cold for a long period of time like overnight or something. Poor baby : (. When i tried to start it today, which has been the coldest day yet, i finally got it after a few cranks while having my foot on the gas and when i released the gass pedal it just stalled out. I had to start it again the same way but i had to keep the gas down constant for it to heat up and idle on its own. Oil is 5w30 by the way. Once it starts up it runs pretty well, maybe a little slugish sometimes i've noticed. Any suggestions/help would be appreciated : ) Thanks.

Oh by the way, my car has 170,000 miles, it was purchased in january of 89, I replaced my O2 sensor with a NAPA brand about 3,000 miles ago, It appears like my #1 injector is leaking theres a stain all around it, also had my EGR system repaired about 4,000 miles ago and had my oil pump bolts resealed? because it was leaking oil which it STILL is... My car is running REALLY rich as well, i borrowed my friends air/fuel gauge

My car started having trouble after I got it back from the shop about 1000 miles ago, i ahd gotten into an accident with the rain and a curb :rolleyes. My right front wheel had completely detached from the steering system and the strut had broken through the upper mount strut plate.

I live in central MD and the average temp around here right now is between 30-45

Thanks a lot to anyone tryin to help me! :D

give it a little tuneup if you havent already, plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, rotor cap. If this doesnt help, try starting with your foot just barely pushing on the pedal. This should work better than holding the throttle wide open. If this does work, maybe your engine isnt getting enough air during startup, perhaps the FICD valve or the air regulator, I would test them.
