Don't have to be in Canada's cold to have problems starting an EX. Today, at a beautiful 67 degree weather, the car won't start. First time I experienced this. I tried to start it for 15 minutes but no to no avail. Pressing start/stop button, foot on the brake pedal, the seat moves forward, but no cranking. Then the instrument panel all lits up, navigation come up, and finally the seat moves back as though you are turning the car off and lights go out. All without a single crank. I tried different combinations of holding start/stop button all the time, letting go in between and push again, locking the car and trying again after 5 and 10 minutes, but nothing worked. I tried to start it by inserting the key in that slot or using my other key, but nothing worked. I called the dealer and they asked me to tow it in. The tow truck guy came and tried giving me a jump start, but no luck either. He started to prepare for the tow, I said to myself let me try one more time. This time, the engine miraculously started. I drove it immediatley to the dealer and asked them to check it out. They came back and said they couldn't find anything wrong with the car. No fault codes and the battery was ok. That's great, now I have to worry about getting stuck on the road on top of the other problems that dealer can't address. Just great!
