Okay everyone, I searched and got some info like checking for sparks, fuel pump, fuel filter etc.

I just got my wire harness done for my SR20 swap into my S14 so I can run A/C.

Now that my harness is done, the car is now having starting problem when the engine is in normal operating temperature. I've yet to check on the water temp sensor but I just want to know if anyone else fixed this type of problems. I thought it was the ECU so I swapped ym ECU but still having problem.....and to make my problems worse, now my Tachometer is not working. I unplugged the water temp sensor unit but it still won't start.

Could this be a harness problem? The guy who did my harness has done many SR20 swaps with functioning A/C.......

Help me out all!!! thanks in advance.

whoa calm down calm down.

check the temp sensor first. things happen randomly, so its a good place to start. i would also check the wiring to the injectors and make sure that it isnt shorted causing the injectors to continuously spray. what kind of fuel pump are you running?

Thanks for the info man. I'm currently running Walbro 255. The last owner had this pump already installed when I bought the car..... and when he soldered the wires toghther, he just used electrical tape to tape things up instead of using heat shrink......so, the adhesive melted and the tape came off...... talk about being dangerous. Anyway, I just got the new sensor today. I'll try and post the results.

thanks
