Starting problem.

Hey all i think my starter its starting to go bad on me. Does anyone know if a starterr from a KAE24 will fit a 91 240sx(ka24de). Any help its welcome. also how hard is it to replace it.

FYI

i tried using a SOHC starter on my DOHC and it WOULD NOT fit.

ive never done the starter on a sohc, but the dohc is extremly easy. the starter itself is held on by two bolts and the electric wire. took me 25 minutes to do mine. i have a 89 as well stored at my brothers house. ill take a look at it tommorow and let you know the steps.

2 bolts -14mm1 power wire1 ground wire. 12mm nut

I gave my spare SOHC starter to my friend with a 93 coupe. We bolted it right up, no problems.
