Starting problem
Noticed that my car is runing funny and not starting right, it's a 93' 240sx all stock. this morning i went out and started my car and it turned over, so i dove it to the gas station by my house. after i came out and tried to start it again it wont start, yet it will turn over but not fire. this is been going on for like a week. it will start after sitting for like an hour and be fine, but when i shut off it wont start back up. its been ideling around 1100 rpms, and sometimes wants to kill itself when its running. i just put a new coil and plug wires on it and it syill wont start. im confused on whats going on, if anyone can help would been that would be great, thanks..

sounds like a fuel pump, next time it wont start shoot a couple seconds or something like intake manifold cleaner in the intake manifold and see if it starts.

The feul pump is pumping fuel to the engine. i took the house off the top and turn on the car, fuel shot up out of the top of the filter. somebody old me that it could be a cam or crank sensor going bad, but im not sure if 240s have them or not. im still confused. im probably going to take it to nissan and have them hook it up to the machine and see whats wrong with it..

Im having the same problem with my 91 ka24 after its been running and I shut it off it doesn't want to start and it just smells like gas really strong. It only started after I replaced the valve cover gasket and water pump gasket. I'm open to any suggestions myself.
