Starter... Check the conections... if it's still not working get a new one.. a rebuilt starter is $124.99 from autozone + core charge or if money is tight you can get one from a junk yard keep in mind it's used then and might break... if you buy a rebuilt one they come with a lifetime warrenty.. The starter is on the passenger side of the KA engine it's near the back of the engine about halfway down it looks like a big silver tin can with a smaller black tin can attached to it... (it goes into where the flywheel is) Try to have someone turn the key while you wack the thing with a hammer it should kick in if it's the starter going bad... Actually... if you don't hear anything then it's most likely the solenoid (the black tin can) it should make a Click when you turn the key if the solenoid is good... So to sum it up...

1st check conections..

2nd wack the thing

3rd pull the POS out and hit it with a sludge hammer... put a new POS in it's place...

Oh and one more thing... is it a manual? you can always try a push start (those are always fun!) have someone push the car with you in it... have it in first gear and have your foot on the clutch... once you're going a good speed let your foot off the clutch and turn the key at the same time... should start right up!
