OK, Im an rx7 guy just to start off so sr swaps.... CLUELESS.

My friend did a install for this guy and it didnt run due to no plugs, and little things wrong..... I ended up trading this car for my 86 street ported rx7...so picked up the car from the kid that originally had it installed and now its my headache...

3 Days ago i compression tested the motor and it was turning over to do it.

I put in the new plugs, and THATS IT!! put on the wires screwed them down then tried to start it and NOTHING, only the fuel pump sounds, everything electrical works except the ECU, starter/motor... It will not turn over now...

doesnt even make a click, just quiet...

Any suggestions?

Could he have done the wiring wrong? Is the ecu bad?

Please help lol... thanks!

try this. it's something that's happened to me in the past. the negative cable gets corrosion on it at the battery terminal. So pull the negative terminal clamp and clean it properly.

Look through the harness, previous owner may have wired it up wrong or didn't connect the wires firmly.

i had the same prob make sure u have proper ground make sure from the motor to the chassie then from the chassie to the battery there should be a spot underneth the fule rail that u can hook the ground wire to and if that does not work then make sure u starter works i had to run a wire to a swith to get mine to start take a wire and put it on the meal part of the plug on the starter and touch it to the positve terminal of the battery to see if its any good it it kicks over then its good heres my AIM name if you have any qestion Eclipse0699

if it was an auto he may not have by-passed the clutch lock
