starting problem help please.

heres the deal my car runs excellent but yesterday as i came to a light it cut off (95 240sx ka24de) it started right up again though and i got to work. I checked it out and one of the line dry rotted and broke so i changed it but now every time i start it, it starts but cuts off and i have to give it gas to stay idling but after about 5 secs of gas giving its fine no cut off nothing any ideas or suggestions please.

the bigger of the two vacuums i changed back to the stock piping and used a kn&N filter and im just fine now and i also cleaned the maf etc the hose that i had gotten when i bought the car was too thin so after stretching it had cracked hence the cut off thanks though its actually running better without the aftermarket filter
