My battery was relocated to the trunk, with 4ga wire and 80A amplifier fuse.

Last week i tried to crank my car, and the fuse blew. So i replace it, check some wiring, and it blew again the moment i try to crank.

I wonder why. Is the starter is drawing more power than usual?

Btw, the starter is NEW, the car was running fine, and all of a sudden it blow fuses.

What can it be? Why does the starter is drawing more power? Can it be my oil 20w mobile-1, or the weather (Michigan). Any clue?

starting can draw more current then 80A at times, thats why the cold cranking most batteries are rated at is around 550A

If i use a circuit breaker with 200-250% tolerence for 5 seconds will it work? Or at least safe for other component on the car?

The car electronics has no problem at all, but until the moment i crank it, the fuse blow immedietly.

i would check for a short in the starter circuit just to be safe and then upgrade the fuse. if you can afford it i highly recomend 1/0 gauge welding cable. it conducts better than any audio cable and is only like $1 a foot.
