I'm about to start on my newest 95' 240 and can't decide which way to go with it. It is going to be a KA24DET, but the rest is sketchy. I'm thinking about going with either a black interior, or a blue and black. A rich blue paint job or a gunmetal or just black.

Any suggestions?

Personally, i would like to see more 240's in colors other than black, white, and red.. I like the blue with black interior. I really really like the dark purple 240's. There was a 240 that had a black and blue interior, it looked sorta ugly, everythng crazy neon blue.. Like I said before though, I'm a big fan of the solid black interior. Sleekness...What color is it now?

Ive always liked darker colors. Dark blues, purples, and maroons are so hot. But you cant go wrong with black and gunmetal.

It's black on black now. I think I'm leaning towards the rich blue paint and black interior with blue accents.

Yeah, I love the black on black, but I just finished my S10 and it's getting painted black right now, and I'd hate to have 2 black vehicles

Well, I got the car here today..........

I'm sure I'm the first person to blow a ka24 and not even have it running.

I towed the car with a car dolly and put it neutral, but I didn't know that thats not enough. So 2 hours into the trip I saw a large amount of white mist coming from the back of the truck, So I got extremely pissed thinking that I just blew my trucks engine (it has 260,000 miles on it). But I was greeted with a spewing radiator from the 240 and a motor that was extremely overheated. I am by no means new to cars, so needless to say this makes me feel really stupid.

I am not sure of the damages yet, but I'll find out soon. Of course, if the motor is gone, I'll take advantage of that to redo it to hold up to more power.

Oh well, lesson learned:D

I would recommend either towing the car with the front of the car pointing backwards and locking the wheels straight, or just drop the driveshaft.

Sorry, but that was pretty dumb towing the car with its RW on the road. You not only put more milage on the car, but exactly what just happened. Anyways, have fun rebuilding the motor though, I think it would be best to do it anyways since SR is already mildly built for turbo or any turboed engine. GL though.

Whats wrong with putting it in neutral? I dont understand. I wouldnt tow it with the rear wheels down anyhow, but how is the engine damaged if it wasnt moving with the wheels?

PS. my pearl white is an attention grabber. go for a pearl white, and go a bit heavy on the pearl ;)

Or silver, since it wasnt an option. Metallic silver =D
