starting my sr project

so im in the market for a sr swap for my 91 se coupe gonna go with a black top s13 and was lookin for some input from everyone on who is most reliable and customer friendly im on a 8500$ budget and would like to get a motor in the $2000-2600 price range and would be nice if they can do the wiring harness too ive been lookin at heavythrottle.com and their prices are quite steep but they do offer to do the wiring harness before they ship it for a fee of course does anyone know if anyone offers this service with there engines but in a more reasonable price range? i would also like to get around 280-300hp in which a good portion of my budget will be used to making it but what upgrades would everyone recommend id like to have it reliable too cause it will be my DD
