Ok so Im trying to get together a basic turbo kit for the car. Im def doing this on a budget. Mind you I will be going to the junkyard and searching on the internet for the lowest prices possible.

Im trying to be at around 260hp daily driver.

Turbo: t28s14 or t28s15 - which ever I get a better deal on.

Fuel: I already have a walbro, so Im going for some cheap 460cc rx7 injectors. Or if my friend sells me his s15 injectors.

Manifold: Ebay for sure. Im also getting an upgraded dump pipe.

FMIC: I got a great deal on a greddy.

*Im not sure wether Im going with a safc or the greddy emange.*

Thats pretty much it. Let me know if Im missing something. Opinions welcome.

Is this on an s13 or s14. KA24DE? Or is this SR? Is this upgrading from stock SR?Your going to need oil lines for your turbo. What mani are you getting?Off ebay isn't a good idea IMO.If it's SSAUTOCHROME you may get lucky and get one to last.but if it breaks then you're out $$ Best to do it right and get a god one the first time. There a couple people in our classified section selling mani's which are good quality. Be about the same price for one off e-bay if not cheaper.Just watch it for a week or so and you'll get one. Your going to need more than just the emanage i think with those injectors. Maybe the emanage with profec e0-1 then you just need your simple gauges. Don't forget BOV, and wastegate if turbo isn't internally.Things can add up in a hurry.Already have exhaust?

Why do you need dump pipe if you're running a turbo with an internal wastegate?

Or were you referring to the O2 extension/exhaust elbow?

I always thought they were the same?

My friend told me about cheapturbos.com and how they will rebuild your t25 to t28 or Big28 turbo for real cheap. Something like 240 or so. Is this true. Also how good is the turbo and what power will it be capable of?

hmmmm, never heard about any rebuild places for really cheap........remember you get what you pay for.

your also gonna need to upgrade your mafs. new ss lines wouldn't be a bad idea. i've only heard horror stories about ssautochrome and ebay in general. some sort of upgraded ecu would be good......what do you mean you have a laptop so its ok??

You can use a laptop for your emanage. istead of getting the eo1.

I was thining of going with some cheapturbolines.com 78 shipped. not to bad.

Safc control your fuel while emanage will control your fuel and your ignition.Cost about 500 I think once you get everything needed. Also have to have a laptop to use the program.Think the price is more like 450 though...Past the 250 mark your ignition need to be controlled/monitored.I'm goign with safc just going to retard
