1. in the morning it wont start. I always need to prime it w/starter fluid.

2. after the initial start. if i shut the engine off, i need to wait about ten minutes for it to restart w/out priming.

other than this my car runs fine, but stoping by a store on the way to work is frustrating.

most of the emissions have been removed. see my sig for details on the car

any ideas

Sounds like a bad fuel pump. Fuel pumps are not supposed to let the fuel drain back to the tank after shut off but it seems yours is so I would say a bad fuel pump. The only other thing I can think of is a seriously leaking injector or a fuel leak (which you would smell fuel outside of your car after driving it) Hope everything works out for you.

Are you AFR's normal on startup?

Perhaps your coolant-temperature sensor is the problem?

When you try to restart it how are the AFR's?
