starting issues.

i just bought a 94 j-30has 112,000 miles on it and is a nice car..well it sux right now.heres the issue on a cold start it will fire fine. sometimes it stalls randomly. at a stop light or while selecting gear. after warming up,and shutting off it WILL NOT start again unless....i either hold the gas pedal down and crank it for like 30 secondsor if i pull the fuel pump fuse out,let it start and then put the fuse back in.ive tried cleaning the maf, iacv,and cleaned the corroded pins on the maf sensor plug. all this to no avail.the guy i bought it from didnt give me the keypad for the alarm either. i tripped the alarm a couple times and this happened,but now its just doing it without me having to re-set the alarm.any help would be great, thanks in advance...oh theres a humming noise when i turn the key to ACC...ive heard this is the fuel ...something or another its coming from where the egr valve is located..

How is your MAF? Is it clean? Something may be obstructing it? The MAF is a sensor located a little after the engine air intake box.

I would start the diagnosis there.

thanks for the welcome!yeah the maf is clean and clear....if i pull the fuel pump fuse out then, put the fuse back in before it dies it'll run.....but as soon as i go to take off it dies.Also if i unhook the vacuum lines to the f.p.r.'s it seem to want to run.but wont run without the vacuum. also the idle is erratic.
