Hello NICO member, trying to help my uncle with his 1999 Pathfinder. I have vague input but will get more information tomorrow. He says the car will not fire up; the car does crank over. He pulled the injectors out and fuel was spraying and he did verify spark was present. He said he experimented and removed the intake hose, opened the throttle, and sprayed "carburetor cleaner" into the intake manifold and the car started for a short period of time. He came to the conclusion it was the fuel regulator causing the problem. I'm not sure why he would think that because he said injectors were spraying fuel.
Any obvious things he could check? I'm not near the car to trouble shoot, inspect, or listen to the car. Thanks

It is no trivial task to truely pull the injectors and check them this sengine.

If it will run off of secondary fuel such as "carb cleanrer" then he likely has a fuel supply issue or massive vacuum leak.

If the truck suddenly stoped working, I would check the fuel pump first..
