Hey guys I have a 02 altima 3.5 and its giving me some starting problems, and its not the starter.

Everytime i start i have to hold the key turned for about 5 seconds and then it starts, but when i shut it off and restart it, its fine.

Not sure what the problem is?

Any help would be great !!

check your battery, see if thats it

someone else had a simular problem, could be a loose ignition connector in the engine bay. heats up and expands and makes better contact n then contracts when cold causing poor connection.
