Ive had my 300 for awhile now and never had a problem i have XXX subs hooked up and had no problem but now all of a sudden my cars now starting its not even cranking. my battery is fine plenty of juice and im pretty sure all my fuses are ok. the only thing i can think off is my starter but i dont know if a starter can jus cut out like that it took a day to fully not be able to start. is there any other thing that could be wrong?

Do you hear a click or any noise when you try to start it? How do you know the battery is ok, have you charged it? The main battery fuse is ok? All your other accessories/headlights are working? I would be leaning more towards the starter relay failing before the starter dying. You will have to check for power at the starter itself. This may mean jacking the car up in the air to crawl underneath. Also could be the ignition switch.

Also check the connections of your battery cables, those can easily cause the problem your seeing, disconnect them and give them a good cleaning. Also check your fuseable element, in the fuse box right by the battery, the fuse closest to the outside of the car caries juice to the ignition system, if its burned though, no start. Trust me I used to remove this everytime I parked mine so my stupid ex wife didnt try to bogart the car.

check the battery cable connections at the starter, check for voltage at the trigger wire when the key si turned, if you get voltage then it's a bad starter or low battery, if you get no voltage then it's an ignition switch or main relay

no i dont hear any clicking at all and my battery is ok and fully charged and yes my lights work and all my panel lights inside work. i know the fuse your talking about and ive pulled it the weird thing is theres a blue wire connecting the two terminals of the fuse like a bridge im not sure this is supposed to be like this ive tried looking around for something to tell me and nothing. but there is no clicking at all where is the relay located? and if that checks out how do i tell if its the switch positively?

the main relay is located inside the drivers side fender liner

befre you go pulling that test forsignal voltage at the starter trigger wire, if you get signal voltage it's a bad starter

did you test for voltage at the trigger wire?

is it a manual or automatic? if its automatic try pullin it into Neutral, it could be a neutral safety switch you have 2 one in P and one in N. i also had this problem in my manual it turned out my sub power wire from the battery was blocking the neutral saftey switch behind my clutch pedal. also i was wondering if it will push start? if all that is ok then i would get a voltmeter and place it on the battery terminals. standing voltage of a charged battery should be between 12.5-12.8v. then have someone turn the key to see if your voltage drops(significantly) if not i would suspect anything starting with the battery fuse should be 80a to the starter fuse i think is a 60a ignition switch and the starter relay. also you can check to see if you get voltage at the block by putting the voltmeter on the positive terminal and engine block. there should be voltage because through the grounds and fuses you should have a complete circuit.

it doesnt start in either gear its a automatic and all the voltage at the battery is good. i took a test light and an voltmeter to the trigger and the test light didnt light and the volts was only at .10 idk how many should be there but there is something there going to it even if it is little. now idk if anyone has had trouble with the secruity system and idk if that would potentially be a problem and idk if i should check the fusible link also and the only thing for the starter relay is the only box where you say it should be is the relay for the wiper motor the wire goes rite to the wiper motor and it says it right on the box

so you measued the voltage at the trigger wire while turnign the key to the crank position right? if so you have either a main relay issue, ignition swithc or neutral saftey switch issue

I know this is an old thread but I have the same problem. Did you ever resolve this? I read to bottom hoping to see what it finally was.
