So i got my black '12 A/C 2.5s from a family friend's dealership in August.(still paying it off) super clean, under 30k miles on it, 20% tints on sides and rear windows, oem spoiler and roof spoiler.

Unfortunately, it's a CVT, which i know isn't the best option of the A/C to add upgrades to it, but i still would like to add some to it to give it a more unique look and sound to it while i have it before i give it to wifey in a few years and get a new car.

Upgrades like a new exhaust and new rims that sticks out a bit to give aggressive looks to it.
I was thinking about lowering it but NYC roads are freaking terrible so I actually thinking of air suspension to get over them curbs, pothole and etc while still able to have my car lowered when i want it. I know added performance parts to an CVT A/C is dumb so i won't even bother asking for tips, plus NYC's 25MPH speed limit = more speeding tickets.

So to wrap up, the mods i want to add and questions i have are:
1.) 2.5" cat-back exhaust (magnaflow muffler) on Stock '12 A/C 2.5s CVT, Yay or nay(why nay)
2.) New rims to Stock '12 A/C 2.5s CVT that stick out by like a 1cm or 2. so what would be the best way to go about it (spacers or just get rims with zero offset)
3.) Air suspension liek accur air(yay or nay)

Anything tips would be great.
Thanks

Go with with the Borla axle back muffler....it sounds a lot more aggressive when you accelerate and is "quiet" when you cruise.

Spacers is the cheap way to add a wider stance, but you'll still be on 17's. Get a set of aftermarket 18's or 18" oem take offs. Anything beyond 18's would be senseless on the 2.5.

A quality air suspension setup is dope....but will be much more expensive upfront and in the long term due to maintenance of the air suspension. Consider a set of coilovers instead if you aren't comfortable with the cost associated with air suspension.

You should also consider aftermarket intake, front strut bar, and rear sway bar as well.

Welcome from one newbie to another lol. As far as exhaust go I'd go with a cat back over an axle back for more air flow. I'm not too sure about 2.5s but in my opinion the Borla cat backs have the best sound (aside from the Nismo which they don't make for my car  ) As far as suspension, SeldomSeen nailed it. Air rides are expensive so it'd be more cost effective to go with lowering springs or coilovers.
