Starting car off a yellow wire, help!

Im looking at this S13 I want to buy but he had it on a push start button on a yellow wire in the engine bay. Doesnt really describe much but that was the best he could describe it to me, maybe someone knows what im talkin about or had the problem??? Any help will be great.thanks

Just take that crap out and use the key. Those things are useless. Plus, it rectifies your problem

Yeah I deffinitelly hate it, thats how my old 240 was and it sucked but I dont know where those wires go to cause there wired to the button rite now so it will run cause something went out on it, would it be the starter, ignition, or what?

trace the wires. they should just run under the dash, and if they are under the hood then im sure theyll be easy to see. If the idiot cut wires, the properly repair the wires and insulated them. Basically traces the wires from the button, fix everything he cut, and then use the key. If that doesnt work, the you need to supply your starter directly to see if it kicks over. If not, then its fried.
