Starting our swap today. Already have the motor pulled, will begin completely tearing down the car, stripping every part that does not make the thing go forward. We will also be measuring windows for lexan and taking measurements for a full cage. And also setting up the wiring to drop the CA18DET in as soon as our big clutch gets here. Taking my digi cam, so hopefully tonight we will have some good pics for you. This should be really fun tearing up the interior of the car, can't wait! Just wanted to say thanks to all the guys here that have given me tons of information that was needed to get us up and rolling, thanks guys! Wish us luck!

Yeah, they gave me hell for some simple questions I was just trying to double check on. Well whatever... Yes NICO is DEFINITELY a more friendly environment. Especially to those of us doing this for the first time.

We did run into one wiring problem. I need to know the color of the wire for the O2 sensor on the CA18DET wiring harness. Other than that, got all the other wiring stuff in order. All soldered with heat shrink and a coating of electrical tape.I'll try to post pics later after I take a shower lol.

Got a few pics. Too busy to take any really good ones. Got some of the car, and the motor. Motors really clean, only 60k miles. Inside of the piping looks good and clean, doesn't look like there is any blow by from the turbo etc. Nothing missing from our clip, in fact it even had the Japanese service manual in the glove box, along with a couple of lotto tickets and a pen of the last owners. lol. :D

If anyone is interested in seeing the pics and knows where I can host them, let me know. Should have better stuff next week.
