Having my Q45a running smoothly seems to becoming a short lived experience. The last few days it has been a bear to start and once started the revs are bouncing around from almost zero to 1400 until the engine warms up.

When fully warm it is almost normal but there is a feint misfire under light throttle.

When the CEL appeared a few weeks ago it showed codes for KS's and leaking injector. After an intake clean using and reset of the codes it was ok for a few weeks. Now there is no CEL but the starting and idling symptoms.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like a MAF or vacuum leak problem, but the leaking injector worries me. Maybe injector was leaking (the misfire?) or maybe the O2 is marginal.

after the intake and fuel rail flush and re-setting of the codes it seem ok. Also the automated fuel rail flush process measures for leaking injectors and after the procedure there seemed to be no leak. The tech thought we might have resolved the issue but maybe note.

The first time this happended earlier this week was after a heavy downpour and generally damp conditions. Today it was dry bt very cold and frosty
