Starting a New KA FAQ

This forum lacks a decent FAQ to pool our resources. I'm going to start building one out of all the useful threads and commonly asked questions.

If you guys can link me to good threads or have idea's to add please do so. This forum will only be as good as we make it. For a hint on what I want, look here KAT FAQ

We can use a FAQ page on how to make more power with OBD2 intake mani's on the OBD1 KA engines that use the scv manifolds.TB coolant bypass FAQ page, and include the information needed for people in colder climates that cannot do this mod and explain why...... FAQ page on the wide range of OEM pistons that can be used for a high compression KA24de including NAPSZ24, and KAE pistons, and modifying the piston skirts.FAQ page on windage tray, and crank scrapper.FAQ page on electric fan setup using the existing relays offered.FAQ page on ecu swapping from the 5speed manual ecu's to the automatic ecu's (removes speed governor/limiters, and adjusted A/F ratio) FAQ page on different clutch systems, and transmission swaps from the FS5w71C to the FS5w71B FAQ page on tuning NA KA's with a wide band O2 and an SAFC, (beginners learning to tune A/F ratio's) The ultimate FAQ page (post your dyno results FAQ page with list of perfromace modifications)

All FAQ pages need to include in depth pictures, or it's a useless FAQ page...

Only a couple and I would have to redo the FAQ page for NICO, since I have already reserved the right for club240.com (which is over ran by BOTS and administrator changes), it is eventually going to be changing server and forum content....DC sports HOT shot header install...http://www.club240.com/forums/...28557KA24de coolant bypass. I'm in the works of installing an OBD2 intake mani on my OBD1 engine. I can post picks and a write up just for NICO unless someone beats me to the punch. I removed the SCV's but the JB weld leaks so I'm removing the old OBD1 mani....

Sure I don't mind. The content has to be edited so that it is only what I gave as descriptive information in the stickie's, any posts that took place other than mine in those threads need to be deleted since they are not NICO content. But you have my consent to rehost the images and my text as long as I get credit for it...

and throw my DIY adjustable cam gears article, everyone likes free horsepower

That cam discussion may be bad, but its the best we have...I simply can't get involved in a cam swap for a NA motor.
