startin problem.....

hello new to the club my first post.

i have a 1993 240sx coupe with the ka24de

this problem has just started recently and its already drivin me crazy, on occasion when i go to start the car, i have power and everything is working, when i turn the key to start i hear 'click' and nothing. everything in the car is also dead.... the only luck ive had is to take the negative terminal off and put it back on until i can actually get the car to turn over.

i watched the battery when i turn the key the negative battery terminal snaps, sparks, car is dead. ive checked my cables there all good and battery is good as well.

just bought the car a month ago and i love it, always wanted a 240. but this is buggin the hell out of me any help is appreciated thx.

i would start by checking the ignition switch.

Well if you start the car and you see sparks coming out of the negative terminal, that's more then a clear sign that either the negative terminal is not tight enough or needs to be replaced.

thats wat im leaning toward i just need to get some money ta get some wire or find a nice peice to replace it with, might me corroded inside
