Starter Would Not Start

Morning all.

This morning my highly reliable 35X gave me some trouble. Got into the okay, key fob worked, unlocked all the doors and got in to the car okay.

Put the foot on the brake and nothing. Not even an attempt to start. Fiddle around with the fob, put into the fob bay in the lower dash and nothing.

Got out of the car, locked it and started the procedure all over again, nothing. Went into the house and go the spare fob, and unlocked to the doors and opened the truck.

Got in the car and it started. Went back in the house got the first key fob, and the car started?

Never had this issue before. Not sure if the security system got stuck or something like that. Both fobs have good batteries, so I am very confident it is not the battery.

Anyone else run into this before.

If so how did you resolve it.

happened to me once, i replaced my key battery and solved the problem.

Happened to me once. Held the fob out the window for less than a minute, pulled it back in and the car started (when I hit the button). I guess I was luckier than you (I wasn't at home to get a spare).
