So im having problems tryin to ge tthe started to work but im not gonna get into that. One thing that kinda stumped me is when i jumped the 2 terminals on the started, it spun but the flywheel didnt turn. The starter was spinning freely. I know usually a starter kicks out and then spins. How do i test to see if it kicks out. or does this start not do that?

Take the starter out of the car, have a shop test it.

i took it to advanced auto, they cuoldnt test it the right way. Your supposed to put the big positive cable on the positive terminal on the starter and small power or ground on the trigger wire and obvously big ground on body. We did that on my starter and a new one, nothing happened. i think their machine was messed up. idk. but a shop isnt gonna do anything different than what im doing.

alright, heres an update or how to test the starter just incase someone needs to.

All you need is power on power terminal, ground on body and a small power feed to the trigger wire, the thing should kick out and spin. simple. I did all this with the starter in the car and it turned the motor. NICE.
