Starter

im having some trouble wiring my starter/fuse box. for now, im leaving the fuse box where it is until i can at least get the car started. all the wiring diagrams i can find list how to wire up everything but the starter/alternator. there is a wire that goes directly from the starter to the battery, and another wire from the starter. its the black and white one. it connects to a two-prong connection. where do i hook this up, or what do i splice into? can somebody PLEASE post a pic looking straight down on the fuse box in the stock location? this is the last bit of wiring and im good but its kickin my @$$. Thanks
