starter?

electronics are working (windows, radio), but nothing when i turn the key. no click, nothing, dead . Ideas? if it is the starter... whats the best way to get it out? thanks guys

check your grounds first. are your positive/negative terminals corroded? if not I'd check all the fuses next. make sure you don't have any blown fuses.

if you want to remove the starter IMHO the best way is to take out the lower bolt from underneath the car then get the top from the engine bay and remove it that way. I'd start elsewhere first however. have you done anything w/ the car? added/removed anything?

try having someone turn the key while you whack the starter with something metal(like a pry bar or really big screwdriver). if not that, have them turn key while you jiggle the starter relay.those are two common failures.

don't whack the starter just yet. i've heard that will screw it up badly. i don't remember exactly why but it made sense at the time

you just want to be carefull about where you whack it. dont whack the wires. you whack the solenoid or the main housing.
