Starter replacement problems!?!?

New member here, glad to have found this place!!!

2001 Infinity QX4
Replacing starter and at a standstill....
This is the first time I have tackled this project.
Removed the two mounting bolts no problem. Problem is the solenoid attached has two wires eac attached with a bolt, the one with the rubber boot is causing my problem, I can't figure out how to get to the bolt.
Is there a trick? Special tool needed?

Any help will be greatly appreciated, trying to get this back on the road for my son.
