Starter Relay location

This is a 89' 240sx hatch. Okay the main starter line is getting power, but the one that clips on is not, ive followed the black/white wiring from the SR lower wiring harness, it clips to the black/yellow one on the chassis harness, and is soposed to go to a relay, I can not find this relay!!!! It should have a black/yellow, a brown/white, and two black/whites wires leading to it. Does anyone know where this relay is located?

on the 91-94(5 speed) , the relay is by the battery. it looks different than the other relays. not sure about the 89-90. its called the interlock relay for 5 speed.

ok, as this pic shows, it is by the battery on the 89, too. Have you checked the clutch interlock switch? when you depress clutch, this switch closes and powers interlock relay. a physical examinition will give you a good clue if it is working right.

Ive checks all the wires leading to that relay for continuity and none are connected to the starter, nor the clutch interlock switch. I found the black/yellow wire, it goes straight through that fuse box and into a loom that goes into the chassic wiring harness and is either to the front wiring of the car and across to the other fuse box, or inside the cab.

If this is a vehicle that has run before and has not been sabotaged, you are going to have continuity. Jumper the clutch interlock switch to see if this is your problem.

bwahahaha, found the relay, it was unplugged... guess I unplugged it when I took the KA out. Appriciate the help folkz
