ca18et and ca20 starters won't work.....there are 2 different starters for the ca20. One of them works only if you have a sr20 flywheel

I bought what I thought was a ca18det starter from a member here....and it ended up being a ca18de pulsar starter. When I got it i noticed it was different than a ca18det starter, and asked the seller what was up. He said he never had a prob with it on his ca-det. Indeed..I installed it, and have had no problems with it what so ever. Only thing you have to do different is.....use a longer bolt and nut on one of the two mounting tabs. The ca18de starter has one threaded hole, and one unthreaded hole...so you have to use a bolt and nut on the unthreaded hole. Other than that it a direct swap.

you can get your oem starter rebuilt for 90.00. i think this is typical rate in VA and it looks brand new when they give it back to you...all cleaned up
