Starter question.

Where is the starter located?My car will not start and the guy that did my swap told me that there is a gray wire that keeps comming out of a tab?

So he said stick it back in.It's above the starter around some coil thing.

Anyone know where that is?

Wow i feel like im learning i can answer a tech question =D....the starter is located just under the intake manifold on the left side of the motor if yer facing the car lookin under the hood.

its clylindrical and large the tab he speaks of is prolly broke and wont stay connected . look around down there im sure yoll find it

Its the solenoid on the starter. Sometime if you tug on it instead of releasing the clip you damage the clip on the lower harness so it won't stay connected. When it falls off the car won't start so you have to reconnect it. You can get a new plug that is good and solder it on there.
