Ok.. so im checking my starter... got the ***** cleaned out with carb cleaner and its brand spanking clean... but for some reason..when i put power to the caps...the little spindle(toothed wheel) pops OUT.. but doesnt spin(the thing that hits the flywheel)... what could that be? bad starter? or can it be fixed? someone/ANYONE please tell me what to do.

check the connection to the battery terminals because if the starters not gettion enough juice it will just pop out but not spin.

If the wires look good and you have the correct voltage at the starter then just pull the starter and take it to get tested.
