Starter problems

Car: 1991 Nissan 240sx

Hey, I just bought a 1991 240sx SE. Basically this thing won't start. I did all your basic checks. I replaced the starter an solenoid. When I turn the key I hear the 2 relays clicking but nothing happens. When I cross the solenoid the starter spins but does not engage. The transmission is not hooked up but the flywheel is bolted on. Any help would be great, Thanks
