Starter not disiengaging.

Starter on my J30 is disengaging slowly or not at all. I just purchased the car and this problem seems to be getting worse It's a 1993 model. Not sure but I think its worse when car is at normal operating temp. What are the most likely causes?

The most likely cause is your starter solenoid is sticking.. What you can do is get under the car and hit the starter with a rubber hammer... sometimes that will unstick the solenoid. if that doesnt work then replace the starter
