actually no, they thought of that, if the keypad doesn't send the correct code to the main unit then it won't let it start. I have my dash half taken apart right now and I would bury it deep in the dash somewhere.maj Andres wrote:hahaha, i suppose you could.

I wouldn't leave it out, I was also thinking of some how to put it in the door pocket. but the ashtray idea seems easier. Good thing I quit smoking. Also, I'm assuming it connects to one of the wires on the ignition itself.
