I went to start my 240sx the other day it is a 1990 model with a manual swap with a ka24de motor. The car was running poorly before that but not once the start broke and grounded agaisnt the chassis the car will no longer start even though I replaced the starter and the ecu fuse. I have traced wires and can't seem to figure it out. I am not getting fuel or spark. It seems that the ECU was bad and I replaced it. Still nothing. Is there something I am missing? I have replaced a lot of fuses, and relays and cannot seem to find the problem. The car will crank but won't trigger the fuel pump or the coil. They are both getting power but not being triggered. I tested both the pump and the coil and both have tested fine. Any suggestions?

Please Help.

I have also tried to see which wire is the ECU power wire and dont know which it is but for some reason it seems no power is getting to the ECU. Is their a Relay somewhere I may be missing? It was an automatic previously is there something else maybe?

I seem to have found my problem anyone that doesn't know this please read. There are MORE relays (6 of them) on the left side of the car behind the fuse block inside the car, the car's main distribution block is also in there. One small relay thats blue for that matter seemed to do the trick. It was on the back side of the main distribution block. Major pain in the arse to take all that out but I found it and it seemed to work. The starter also shorted out my MSD 6 BTM box very upsetting. Thanks Guys.
