I have a SR20DET and I was wondering is there a way to make the ground wire on the starter a bigger gauge wire. Has anyone done this or knows what crimps I need for the ground termnial?

advanced auto parts sells thick gauge starter wires with copper terminals.

they also sell the crimps separately, but you'll have to find the wire yourself.

Normally you don't remove the stock wiring unless you have too. Just run a thicker ground along with it.

I bought some copper terminals some 4g wiring and went to town on my grounds. Easy project if you take your time and measure properly. Make sure you secure the wiring like the factory so it doesn't come into contact with parts it shouldn't (had a friend that thought he did a 'great' ground kit only to have it messed up by his exhaust manifold and even fan).
