Well Should be ready to pull the CA out of the clip tomorrow. No huge headaches yet other than undoing the connectors to the starter and the downpipe nuts.

As for wiring, holy crap. I have no idea how you guys could do a 30 minute job to it to make it work. The MAF wire isn't long enough, the ignitor is very much not long enough. Basically the only wires that don't need stretched is the center section (ignition and injectors). Oh well I will tackle the wiring once the engine is in the new car to make sure it is fit perfect.

Unfortunately my helper and motivator is racing a 350Z at the national tour in Phoenix this weekend so I was lucky just to get this far. BTW, double adjustable Penske shocks feel oh so good on a 350Z.

you dont have to touch the ignitor wires, just bolt it where its at or let it rest on whatever like I did. Same thing with dropping resistor.

The MAF part is easy just cut the wires but leave enough to splice back into with 3 ft of extra wire.

Or you could do like I did. this would take some time, but if you COMPLETELY un wind the entire harness and then tape it back up, I think that will help things out a lot. I'm probabally going to do that with mine when I do the rebuild since the motor will be out of the car.

You actually have the chance to custom wire and relocate any external device on that harness, so be sure and take your time as well as give yourself a clean install.

like i did! all the stuff in mine is in the factory location and it was re-loomed with the same stuff nissan used. im so proud of it and the complements i get on it. the performance shops around here all asked who did the install, when i told them it was me they were stunned. enough bragging, just because its clean doesnt mean the engine isnt more fooked than a 60 year old whore.
