Well the swap is finished and it turned over the first time, only thing is I don't have an intake adapter or filter yet, so yeah it wouldn't stay on, had my pops cover the MAF with his hand and it would stay on with a little gas. Also I'm only running open DP,but other than sounding like a WWII Airplane and waking up my old neighbor next door motor sounds very nice.

they take forever to load, you just have to be real patient. I've got DSL and it took me a min or two for them to load....

Hey, GotBoost4Yall, I went ahead and fixed that for you so that people don't have to wait till forever for them to load. Everyone should be able to see them quickly now...

You might have a air leak somewhere, Will. Or a bad MAF.

Its not supposed to shut off, even if it doesnt have a filter.

Well really I was hoping it just would crank over and plus my neighbors are always buggin out about noise, it was at about 8pm. I will play with it more this weekend. I really didn't have much clamped down and one hose on the intake piping to the TBwas off, after warming it up it did smooth out but really didn't keep it on for much longer, was too loud.

Damn those pics suck, I'll try some daytime pics or a different camera

That is weird. Mine does the same thing. It never stays started on the first try when it's cold. And the colder it is, the harder it is to start. I had a heck of a time this winter. I'd have to turn it over 3/4 times, and then still have to keep bliping the throttle to keep it running. After it was warmed up, it would run like a champ though. Never did figure it out.

Just to be curious I started her up today at noon and at first she started right up and died out, tried again and she smoothed out and I let it run for a good 15-20 min with no interuptions. Enjuku has my intake adapter and I'll be picking it up tommorow and Kevin has my catback.....so I'll try to be out this weekend. O yeah I still need something to regulate boost, since I didn't use that factory crap that came with it, but no ACE hardware MBCs ,I had problems with those on my Talon, either backing down or spiking up. Any recomendations??? :ylsuper

mine never likes to run right away when its cold. it starts first crank, revs up and dies. if i rev it when the tach is dropping it will go back to normal. runs fine though, no problems at all. dont know why exactly it does it but it doesnt bother me at all.

boost controller wise, just ebay i up for an older electronic unit, a blitz dual sbc or hks evc 2 or 3. shouldnt run you much over 100 bucks.

For now, run a rubber hose from the wastegate actuator to the nipple on the turbo compressor housing. It will give you stock boost.
