yeah, good idea to run the engine up to temp with no coolant in it right? this was just to see if it would start, ****bag.Blown240sx wrote:Does no one give a **** about warming the motor up?
I built the mounts, modified the xmember, wired it up, etc. The only thing I didnt do was reprogram the ecu.Metaru_Gia wrote:What motor mounts did you use?
a lot in parts. zero in labor.hinds90 wrote:How much did the swap cost.
LOL same thing I was thinking. I understand if you don't want to give the exact number. What about an estimate.furple wrote:could you provide a number?
it was definitely a bad idea to rev a cold engine that high. ls1's do not like >3000 rpm when cold. thats how you break valvesprings.IHeartTurbo wrote:yeah, good idea to run the engine up to temp with no coolant in it right? this was just to see if it would start, ****bag.
expect $6000+ to do a ls1 swap correctly, doing all your own labor.hinds90 wrote:

Is this a track car?
For that I hope your motor blows.IHeartTurbo wrote:yeah, good idea to run the engine up to temp with no coolant in it right? this was just to see if it would start, ****bag.
It really depends on the upfront motor costs. I could see a 5000 build if you knew exactly what to buy and how to install it.Joe wrote:

I'll warm your motor up.Blown240sx wrote:Does no one give a **** about warming the motor up?
