Started my LS1 swapped 240sx today for the first time v.videos

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

I built the mounts, modified the xmember, wired it up, etc. The only thing I didnt do was reprogram the ecu.

LOL same thing I was thinking. I understand if you don't want to give the exact number. What about an estimate.

Is this a track car?

it was definitely a bad idea to rev a cold engine that high. ls1's do not like >3000 rpm when cold. thats how you break valvesprings.

expect $6000+ to do a ls1 swap correctly, doing all your own labor.

For that I hope your motor blows.

If you dont have a radiator on it and its cold start up what gave you the idea to rev it that hard? If youd like I can get some LS1 builders on here to chew you out about what happens.

Well like I said blow the ***** up I could give two ****s since you dont seem too.

It really depends on the upfront motor costs. I could see a 5000 build if you knew exactly what to buy and how to install it.

****, you guys are faggots. Haven't you ever been so excited about something that you do something that shouldn't be done? Yeah I shouldn't have rev'd it like I did, but it doesn't mean you have to be faggots about it. Loosen up.
