O.K., I feel pretty good. I got the SR in and got her running. She starts right up, idles down after it warms up. It only took me a month longer than I thought it would. How someone can do this in a weekend is a marvel to me.

I guess part of what took so much time was mounting the Griffin radiator instead of buying a direct replacement, and rebuilding the steering rack, and getting rid of the ABS and putting the regular brakes in, and fabing up the exhaust....and the fact that here in FL in the summer there's thunderstorms for 3 hours every afternoon...still, it seems like it took me longer than it should have.

I still have to put the springs in and the VLSD....one of these days I"m gonna get to drive this thing. That will be a good day. For now I just start it up and listen to it purr.

Getting it started and running is always the best feeling :)

As for doing swap in a weekend...yeah, it's possible if you don't run into any snags. I can usually do a swap with wiring in a full day (roll in with a KA early morning, leave at night with a running SR) but that's provided I have everything, don't hit any snags, don't have to run out to autozone multiple times (which is almost inevitable) etc...

Once you actually get out and drive the car it'll be worth all the time and effort.
