what happens mechanically when you start up an engine when it is like 0 degrees out, and then put stress on the engine?what is the worst that could happen if you did this?please tell me all that you know about this!

It's designed to start up in extreme cold.

The oil is really thick when it's that cold so you need to let the engine warm up before putting too much load on an engine.

yes i knew that but mechanically why can you not put stress on an engine when it is so cold out?
