Start up problem

I have a 90 240sx ka24e... i had the head just rebuilt and i put it back together.... i know i put the timing chain on correctly .... i set the marks and chain correctly like it says in the owner man... and made sure it was at TDC. But once it was put toegther would not start... just turns over... when opening the thottle tho it seems to wanna start more then when closed. ANy Ideas anyone thanks jon
