hey all i have a 95 Nissan hard body Auto with v6 and 4x4. Little bit of story with her. Picked her up in June of this year at Fort Campbell Ky for 600. Front main seal leak and guy didnt want to mess with it. From what i know about the truck it started its life somewhere out west hence the NO RUST. Has approximately 166k on her. the issue i am having is that on first startup after sitting for a while like if i get in start it and go to take off she is sluggish. but after about 2 mins of driving its fine. anyone know what the deal is ? ohh and the front seal leak has been fixed.

You can still have OBD1 codes read. I don't believe Autozone carries the scan tool for them, but if you call around some local shops you might find one that can read OBD1 codes.

Simple easy things to check air filter and air intake tract, make sure filter is clean and use some throttle body cleaner on the intake tract, both can cause that. ALSO a tune up cannot hurt wires and plugs and cap and rotor not to expensive and is the first thing I do on all used vehicles when I get them along with oil all filters meaning FUEL filter not just air and oil filters. Those few things done on a new used vehicle can eliminate a ton of headaches cheap.
