I put in my new enthalpy ecu with my z32 maf and deatchwerks 650's.

When i start the car all it does is turn over...with my foot on the floor it takes about 20secs then it stumbles and starts. The car runs fine. When i shut it off, if i turn the key then put my accel on the floor, then next time i start it, as long as the accel is on the floor it will fire right up.

As for idleing, i can't get the car to lower down below 1000rpm. I followed the standard procedure to set stock timing and my car refuses to work.

I have my safc at 5in/5out for the mass air sensor. Please let me know if you guys have any ideas that i could try. This is my daily driver and i cannot have startup problems in the mornings.

The air/fuels are fine when the car is running....actually a little lean at idle

Im confused if a MAF such as the Z32 is tuned for in your ECU to be recognized wouldnt your in and out settings for SAFC be 2 in 2 out since the Z32 is #2 on the safc manual. And the ECU can recognize the Z32 voltage signal so 2 out would allow an unalterd Z32 MAF signal.

Plus he 5 setting allows a lesser range of fuel points and would cause a rich condtion correct? Or atleast some issues.

Try setting the SAFC to 2 in 2 out

Is this a completely new setup? Or did it ever run without the SAFC? I would actually take off the SAFC completely and try and get it running without the complications of a piggyback messing things up. In fact the enthalpy tune should be pretty darn close to how you want.

the start-up problem happens with just the enthalpy as well....is it possible that he added too much fuel for start-up? I am using the safc to fine tine, but his wot was too rich...it was running 10.0 afr's

I saw you were using 650cc injectors. Could this be too much for the setup you are using? Too much fuel at cold startup?? What else are you running??

make sure all the safc hi and low setting are all on zero, check the safc to make sure its on hot wire. Check injector seals. Has anyone touched or removed the distributor lately, it could be off timing.
