Start takes too long to engage, at least 2-3 secs..

is this normal for a s13? and when it initial start up the car shakes a lil bit, any input is appreciated.

Mine does, takes approx. 2 seconds for the car to catch, not only that, if the car is warm, say when I run to work, and shut it off then start it directly back up, it would start then stall. If I start it up a second time, it works fine.

Could be the severe lack of oil you have in your motor.

Its regular for a car to take a few seconds to start. : ) Thats normal, also the vibration is the torque of the motor and additionally the KA is a very vibration motor both because of its crankshaft balance and the way the motor is mounted.
